Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and order necessary diagnostics.
- Perform essential procedures as needed within your scope of practice.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams at various hospitals to optimize patient care.
- Admit patients for further evaluation or treatment when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications for Success:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) is mandatory.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS demonstrate your commitment to patient safety.
- Valid Ohio medical license to practice medicine without restrictions. (Confirmation needed on whether the Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) is accepted).
- Current DEA registration is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
Hospital Network:

- All hospitals utilize Epic as their EMR system.
